Town Board Monthly meeting @ 7:30 pm
PRESENT: Chairperson-Carl Mundth, Supervisor I-Rebecca Klitzke, Supervisor II-Chad Allen, Clerk-Rebecca Meyer, Treasurer-Kathy Schwartz,
ALSO, PRESENT: Clark Thompson, Terri Connors, Linda Borleske, Ervin Borleske, Paul Grosskrueger
- Town Board Monthly Meeting Called to order at 7:30 pm with the Pledge of Allegiance
- Oaths of Office were conducted for Kathy Schwartz as Town Treasurer, Rebecca Meyer as Town Clerk, Carl Mundth as Town Chairperson, Rebecca Klitzke as Town Supervisor I and Chad Allen as Town Supervisor II.
- Clerk R. Meyer certified that the meeting met the criteria of open meetings law by being on the town website and on the door of the town hall.
- Agenda was reviewed. Motion by Klitzke / Allen to adopt agenda. Motion carried.
- The Minutes were reviewed from the March meeting. Motion by Allen / Klitzke to approve minutes with minor changes. Motion carried.
- Anyone wishing to speak about a topic that is not on the agenda. Nothing at this time.
- Chairperson C. Mundth appointed Terri Connors as Plan Commission Chairperson.
- Plan Commission Chairperson, L. Borleske, gave an update on the Plan Commission meeting. There was a not Plan Commission meeting in March. Plan Commission Vice-Chair, C. Mundth, set the next meeting to be April 26th at 7:30 for a CSM to be reviewed on Horkan Road in the ET and a farm consolidation CSM on County Highway K. An Oath of Office will be conducted for the newly appointed Plan Commission Chairperson, Terri Connors. There will be nominations for Plan Commission Vice-Chair and the Plan Commission Chair will appoint the secretary. Which will both take the Oath of Office as well.
- Annual Meeting is set for Thursday, April 22 @ 7:30 pm. through Board discussion and consensus.
- Road Tour date is set for Friday, April 23, 2021 @ 8:00 am through Board discussion and consensus.
- Ambulance report by Rebecca Klitzke read by Clerk R. Meyer (see below).
- Assessor report by Clerk R. Meyer. Bob from Holloway appraisal had requested Open Book date Thursday, June 17 and Board of Review date Thursday, June 24. Typically he uses time frames of 5pm – 7pm. Through Board consensus these dates and times were approved except to move the Board of Review time frame to 6pm – 8pm.
- Clerk R. Meyer contacted WTA regarding Board of Review training. It is required to have one member of the Board trained. Currently Board of Review training is held every two years, however, they are going to be doing webinars for on-line training beginning in 2022.
- Highway report given by Clark Thompson.
v Sander is off and the dump box is on the orange truck.
v They want the dump box at Madison Truck to get it fitted on the new truck
v Shouldering needs to be done and would like permission to have Miquel Ruiz help out for a few hours to do shouldering to be paid $12 per hour. Clerk Meyer will check with Lichte insurance to see if they are covered when they are helping out.
v Sand Pile is at about 250 yards and is covered til fall
- Building Inspector Report: Building permits issued by GEC – report given by Clerk Meyer
v Pat Imhoff @ E6883 STH 154 to Raze existing house that had a house fire
v Jason Herritz @ S2503 N Dewey Ave for a pole shed
- Supervisors and Chairperson Reports:
v C. Allen - Supervisor II – Nothing at this time
v R. Klitzke – Supervisor I – Nothing at this time
v C. Mundth – Chairperson – Received a phone about a project at E7217 Junction Rd.
- Clerk R. Meyer presented Monthly Bills to be paid. Motion by Klitzke / Allen to pay the bills as presented. Motion carried.
- Treasurer Report: Given by Treasurer K. Schwartz
v Deposit - $26,667.63 for General Transportation Aids
v Deposit - $7,175.37 ($110 – hall rental, $5 – dog license, $6,719.37 – gaming & lottery credit, $101 – Lichte ins for WC refund, $240 – Focus on energy for shop lights)
v Town Board meetings: May10, June 14 & July 12 @ 7:30 pm
v Plan Commission – April 26 @ 7:30.
- Motion by Klitzke / Allen to adjourn the monthly Town Board Meeting at 8:51 pm. Motion carried.

Reedsburg Area Ambulance Service Commission Meeting, March 9, 2021
The meeting began with a call to order, approval of the minutes from the January meeting, and the financial statements from January and February were approved.
Director Kowalke presented ten-year service awards for two individuals that have been employed with the Reedsburg Area Ambulance Service as of 2020.
Director Kowalke presented the land sale agreement with the DNR for the land between the Chamber of Commerce and the current Ambulance building. The Commission voted in favor of approving the land sale unanimously.
Director Kowalke explained the Provider Relief Fund Proposal that was a one-time payment provided by Medicare to healthcare providers for specific needs in responding to the COVID-19 Pandemic. The Commission voted in favor of the Director’s proposition to use the monies for a one-time stipend to each employee based on the number of hours they worked in 2020.
The Ambulance Service started providing Covid vaccinations on January 27, 2021 using a drive-thru process. An appointment-only method is being used and people can sign up online to register. Medicare and Medicaid are providing reimbursement for administering the vaccine.
