Town Board Monthly meeting @ 7:00 pm

 

            PRESENT:  Chairperson-Carl Mundth, Supervisor I-Rebecca Klitzke, Supervisor II-Chad Allen, Clerk-Rebecca Meyer, Treasurer-Kathy Schwartz

            ALSO, PRESENT:  Clark Thompson

  1. Town Board Monthly Meeting Called to order at 7:00 pm with the Pledge of Allegiance
  2. Clerk R. Meyer certified that the meeting met the criteria of open meetings law by being on the town website and on the door of the town hall.
  3. Agenda was reviewed. Motion by Klitzke / Allen to adopt the agenda. Motion carried.
  4. The minutes were reviewed from the November meeting. Motion by Allen / Klitzke to approve minutes with minor changes. Motion carried.
  5. Anyone wishing to speak about a topic that is not on the agenda.  
  6. Budget adjustment explanation of an invoice that didn’t come through.
  7. Carl explained the LRIP Awards.  The Town of Reedsburg has been awarded $21,223.95 for Herritz Road.  TRIP D Town of Reedsburg was ranked number 4 for the Prairie View Bridge.
  8. Non-Compliant Building Permit Letter will be sent to E7155 STH 23 & 33.  Motion by Klitzke / Allen to send proposed letter as certified with a return signature.  Motion carried.
  9. Ambulance report by Rebecca Klitzke.  David Allen attended the meeting in November.  The main topic was about the city taking over the Ambulance commission.  The next meeting is Wednesday, January 19 @ 7pm.
  10. Assessor report – Nothing to report at this time.  Carl will be in contact with Pete Giese about the buildings being moved across the road on Herritz Rd.
  11. Highway report by Clark Thompson.

v Salt & Sand was delivered and billed

v St. Joe’s was here to put DEF in the tractors

  1. Building Inspector Report: Building permits issued by GEC – report given by Clerk Meyer

v Gatlin Fenwick @ S2720 Hwy V for ground mount solar

v LaVonne Schmitt @E7270A E Reedsburg Rd for Electrical Services

  1. Supervisors and Chairperson Reports:

v C. Allen - Supervisor II – Nothing at this time

v R. Klitzke – Supervisor I – Attended the Grant application meeting

v C. Mundth – Chairperson – Steve Zibell, Clark and Carl met about what is going on across the road from the Golf Course.  Talked to Alliant Energy about the street lights that should be billed to the City.  Received two Timber harvest reports. Filled out a survey for housing unit and building projects for future. 

  1. Clerk R. Meyer presented Monthly Bills to be paid.  By board consensus, this is the last month that the street lights on Golf Course Road to Alliant will be paid, these are City owned street lights.  Motion by Allen / Klitzke to pay the bills as presented. Motion carried.  
  2. Treasurer Report: Given by Treasurer K. Schwartz

v Deposit - $224.50 ($60 – Special Assessment letters, $51 – Building Permit, $58 – Stamps sold to Rural Fire Dept., $55.50 – Dog license Fees).

  1. Calendar Dates

v Plan Commission – Jan 24, Feb 28, March 28 & April 25 @7:00 pm

v Town Board meetings: Jan 10, Feb 14, March 14 & April 11 @ 7:00 pm

  1. Reasonably related to agenda.
  2. Motion by Kltzke / Allen to adjourn the monthly Town Board Meeting at 8:30 pm.  Motion carried.
