Town Board Monthly meeting @ 7:00 pm

 

          PRESENT:  Chairperson-Carl Mundth, Supervisor I-Rebecca Klitzke, Supervisor II-Chad Allen, Clerk-Rebecca Meyer, Treasurer-Kathy Schwartz

          ALSO, PRESENT:  Clark Thompson, Gaitlyn Fenweck

1. Town Board Monthly Meeting Called to order at 7:00 pm with the Pledge of Allegiance
2. Clerk R. Meyer certified that the meeting met the criteria of open meetings law by being on the town website and on the door of the town hall.
3. Agenda reviewed. Motion by Klitzke / Allen to adopt the agenda. Motion carried.
4. The minutes were reviewed from the February meeting. Motion by Allen / Klitzke to approve minutes with minor changes. Motion carried.
5. Anyone wishing to speak about a topic that is not on the agenda.  Gaitlyn Fenweck would like the speed limit reduced on County Road V.  The Board referred him to the City and County.
6. Discussion on DMV hall lease agreement.  Kathy recommends the Memorandum of Understanding.  Our insurance company will take a look at MOU and we will adjust the monthly premium.  Motion by C. Mundth / R. Klitzke to present the MOU from DOA to Lichte Insurance for review.  At the April meeting we will set a new rental rate.  Motion carried.
7. Set Date for Annual Meeting to be Monday, April 18 at 7 pm.
8. Set date for Road tour to be Friday, April 22 at 8 am
9. Discussion on Ambulance Resolution.  Motion to approve the new resolution for the Reedsburg Area Ambulance Commission. Mundth Aye, Klitzke Aye, Allen Aye.  Motion carried.
10. Discussion on ARPA funds usage took place. Pat Weber from Friede came to look at our ceiling at the town hall.  This will be updated next month.
11. Highway report by Clark Thompson

v Road Bans were put on Monday, March 7^th

v There is about 200 yards of sand left

12. Building Inspector Report: Building permits issued by GEC – report given by Clerk Meyer

v Jim Wheeler @ S3725 Old Loganville Rd for Residing

v Dan Schenck @ S3816 Thieman Hill Rd for Bath remodel

13. Supervisors and Chairperson Reports:

v C. Allen - Supervisor II – attended Board of Review training

v R. Klitzke – Supervisor I – received a phone call on hall rental

v C. Mundth – Chairperson – attended Board of Review training; problem with garbage pickup discussion; letter about annexations into the city from City Administrator; Scoles property; attended unit meeting in February at the new building in Rock Springs;

14. Clerk R. Meyer presented Monthly Bills to be paid.  Motion by Allen / Klitzke to pay the bills as presented. Motion carried.
15.  Treasurer report given by K. Schwartz

v Deposit - $277.00 ($150 – hall rental, $40 – special assessment letters, $30 – Building permits, $52 – Workman’s Comp reimbursement, $5 – Dog Tax)

16. Calendar Dates

v Plan Commission –March 28, April 25, May 23, June 27 & July 25 @7:00 pm

v Town Board meetings: April 11, May 9, June 13 & July 11@ 7:00 pm

v Annual Meeting: Monday, April 18 @ 7:00 pm

v Road Tour: Friday, April 22 @ 8:00 am

v Election Dates: April 5, August 9 and November 8

17. Reasonably related to agenda.  Nothing at this time.
18. Motion by Allen / Klitzke to adjourn the monthly Town Board Meeting at 8:23 pm.  Motion carried.
