Town Board Monthly meeting @ 7:00 pm
PRESENT: Chairperson-Carl Mundth, Supervisor I-Rebecca Klitzke, Supervisor II-Chad Allen, Clerk-Rebecca Meyer, Treasurer-Kathy Schwartz
ALSO, PRESENT: Clark Thompson,
- Town Board Monthly Meeting Called to order at 7:00 pm with the Pledge of Allegiance
- Clerk R. Meyer certified that the meeting met the criteria of open meetings law by being on the town website and on the door of the town hall.
- Agenda reviewed. Motion by Allen / Klitzke to adopt the agenda. Motion carried.
- The minutes were reviewed from the March meeting. Motion by Klitzke / Allen to approve minutes with minor changes. Motion carried.
- Anyone wishing to speak about a topic that is not on the agenda.
- Discussion on DMV hall lease agreement set a new rental rate. Motion by Klitzke / Allen to change the DMV hall rate from $120 / day to $150 / day beginning July 1,2022. Motion carried.
- Annual Meeting will be on Tuesday, April 19th @ 5:30 pm. Motion by Allen / Klitzke the Annual meeting will be adjourned to Monday, May 2 and 7pm. Motion carried.
- Discussion on approved TRIP funds from WI DOT. TRIP S was approved for Prairie View Rd. This is a 90 / 10 split. Engineering of the project isn’t required but if we choose to do engineering, we don’t have to take the lowest bid. Public Bids only the County can not bid on the project. Regular TRIP project has been awarded for $23K for Herritz Rd. for work to be done in 2024 or 2025. If the project is over $65K it must be engineered. Motion by Klitzke / Allen to get Engineering firms for bids for the Prairie View Project. Roll Call Vote: Allen – Aye, Klitzke – Aye, Mundth – Aye. Motion carried. Motion by Mundth / Allen to request Engineering bids from Jewell, MSA, Westbrook and Team. Motion carried.
- Discussion on ARPA funds usage took place. Board Consensus to request sealed bids for the ceiling project. Interested parties can call Clark for Specifications and to view the project with the change of 2 x 2 square tiles vs the current 2 x 4 tiles. The project must be completed during a specific time frame to be determined.

- Highway report by Clark Thompson

v Issued 3 driveway permits to Marty Koenecke in Copper Creek
- Building Inspector Report: Building permits issued by GEC – report given by Clerk Meyer
v None were issued in March
- Supervisors and Chairperson Reports:
v C. Allen - Supervisor II – Nothing at this time
v R. Klitzke – Supervisor I – received a phone call about the Friske Drive sign misspelled and town hall rental. Also received a phone call from a family that would like to live in the grainery while building a house.
v C. Mundth – Chairperson – Talked to Steve Zibell about water treatment lines and locations. Many other things were discussed; new street for hotel will be on Golf course rd, there will be new street lights @ intersection of Golf Course & 33 this summer.
- Clerk R. Meyer presented Monthly Bills to be paid. Motion by Allen / Klitzke to pay the bills as presented. Motion carried.
v Election report shows 253 electors voted and the day ran smoothly.
- Treasurer report given by K. Schwartz
v Deposit - $253.00 ($70 McPherson– hall Rent, $30 – building Permits, $150- Special Assessment Letters)
v Deposit - $27,044.58 for Transportation Aids

- Reasonably related to agenda. Nothing at this time.
- Motion by Klitzke / Allen to adjourn the monthly Town Board Meeting at 8:45 pm. Motion carried.
