Monday, July 10, 2023
Monthly Town Board Meeting
at 7:00 pm at Town Hall
PRESENT: Chad Allen, Rebecca Klitzke, Terri Connors, Clark Thompson, Paul Grosskrueger
ABSENT: Rebecca Meyer and Kathy Schwartz
- Call Meeting to order at 7:00 pm with Pledge of Allegiance – C. Allen called the meeting to order @ 7:00pm with the Pledge of Allegiance.
- Certify Open Meetings Law has been met- C. Allen that the open meetings law has been met by having an agenda posted on the Town website and Town hall door.
- Adopt Agenda – Motion by Klitzke / Connors to adopt the July 10, 2023 Agenda. Motion carried unanimously.
- Approve minutes from previous meeting – Motion by Connors / Klitzke to approve the minutes from the June 2023 meeting. Motion carried unanimously.
- Anyone wishing to speak about a topic that is not on the agenda (No action can be taken) Max 3 minutes - No one present
- Paul and Kathy Grosskrueger to present a CSM located in the NW ¼ of the NW¼, Section 15, T12N, R4E, Town of Reedsburg on Old Loganville Rd and Lane Drive. - Paul Grosskrueger presented a CSM to split parcel 030-0593-0000 into two parcels. One parcel includes the house and 16.05 acres and the other parcel will be 15.74 acres of field. This has been reviewed by the Plan Commission and approval has been recommended. Motion by Connors / Klitzke to recommend approval of the presented CSM to the ET Committee. Motion carried unanimously.
- Update on Prairie View Bridge – Nick Brey noted that Radke Construction is complete with the Prairie View Bridge project and will be sending the final invoice soon. The Bridge aide for this project has been submitted. Brey stated that the structure was sound with no problems with functionality..
- Ambulance report by R. Klitzke – There was not a meeting in June
- Assessors Report – Nothing
- Highway Report by C. Thompson
a. Locates on Herritz Rd has been completed for culvert work.
b. Once Spring Green receives their new truck, they will release the other truck to us. Board suggested Clark gets a check for the remaining $40,000 so when it is ready, he can go get it.
c. Selling price for 1999 White Truck with plow will be determined. Chad will do some research on value.
d. The lady planting flowers at the cemetery has been talked to.
e. Seal coating has been completed on Oak Crest
f. Brush on Old Loganville Rd has been taken care due to a concerned resident.
- Building Inspector (GEC) report
a. No permits were issued in June
b. Next meeting, discussion options for Building Inspector
- Chairman / Supervisor Reports and comments
a. Terri Connors – Nothing
b. Rebecca Klitzke – Nothing
c. Chad Allen – 3 Fireworks permits were issued
- Presentation of monthly bills - Chad read off invoices to be paid. Motion by Connors / Klitzke to pay the presented bill
- Treasures Report –
a. ACH Deposit – GTA - $27,422.02
b. Deposits - $258.24 ($50 – Hall Rent, $10 – Special Assessment Letters, $198.24 – MFL)
- Review upcoming dates: Plan Commission / Town Board
- Plan Commission –July 24. August 28, Sept. 25 & Oct. 23 @ 6:30 pm
- Town Board –August 7, Sept. 11 & Oct. 9 @ 7:00 pm
- Anything else reasonably related to the agenda. (No action can be taken at this meeting)..
- Adjourn – Motion by Klitzke / Connors to adjourn at 7:56 pm. Motion carried unanimously
