Monday, November 13, 2023
Monthly Town Board Meeting
at 7:00 pm at Town Hall
PRESENT: Chad Allen, Rebecca Klitzke, Terri Connors, Clark Thompson, Rebecca Meyer
- Call Meeting to order at 7:00 pm with Pledge of Allegiance – C. Allen called the meeting to order @ 7:00pm with the Pledge of Allegiance.
- Certify Open Meetings Law has been met- R. Meyer certified that the open meetings law has been met by having an agenda posted on the Town website and Town hall door.
- Adopt Agenda – Motion by Klitzke / Connors to adopt the November 13, 2023 Agenda. Motion carried unanimously.
- Approve minutes from previous meeting – Motion by Connors / Klitzke to approve the minutes from the October 2023 meeting. Motion carried unanimously.
- Anyone wishing to speak about a topic that is not on the agenda (No action can be taken) Max 3 minutes – No One Spoke
- Regular Town Board Meeting Recessed Motion by Connors / Klitzke at 7:02.
- Budget Hearing called to order at 7:02pm
- Presentation of Town of Reedsburg 2024 Budget – Presentation & Discussion
- Budget Hearing Adjourned -Motion by Klitzke / Connors at 7:18pm to adjourn the budget hearing and reconvene the Regular Town Board meeting.
- Regular Town Board meeting reconvened Motion by Connors / Klitzke to adopt the presented 2024 Town of Reedsburg Budget. Motion carried unanimously.
- Ambulance report by R. Klitzke – The meeting for next week Tuesday will be the last meeting for Town reps to report to.
- Assessors Report by R. Meyer – 2024 – 2026 Contract discussion and signatures
- Highway Report by C. Thompson
a. Received a call from Barry Engel regarding the new garbage pickup and getting a dumpster. Pat Farber has a dumpster and it appears as though he has never paid for his dumpster.
b. 600 tons of Sand have been delivered.
c. Rented the floor cleaner last week from True Value.
d. Women toilet needed the bolts tightened.
e. Doug Blakeslee driveway is 257 feet of Golf View Court that was on the PASER report.
f. True value bill was higher because he made a sprayer for brush burning.

a. Terri Connors – Nothing to report
b. Rebecca Klitzke – WTA Meeting on Thursday, November 16 @ 7pm.
c. Chad Allen – Brian Duvalle called and the new owners on CTY Rd V wants to start up a dog training facility. Vierbicher’s called and Grede’s want to expand the Foundry site. Called a lady about the toters with a long driveway. Received a phone call about the Beisbier land new owners wanting to move the line fence to the property line and the property owner uses that as a field road. Signed a CSM for Mark Beisbier Property on Prairie View Drive so the new owners of the parcel in the Town of Reedsburg could have a driveway in the Town of Westfield.
- Town Clerk Presentation of monthly bills and Comments by R. Meyer - Motion by Connors / Klitzke to pay the presented bills.
- Treasures Report –
a. Deposits on 10/18 - $5654.03 ($136– Building Permits, $1,183.55 – Private Sales Allen / Schneider, $1,400 for Cemetery plots, $30 – Special Assessment letters, $2,904.48 for MFL (20% goes to the County)).
b. Deposit on 11/14 - $859.50 ($210 – Hall Rental, $50 – driveway permit, $40 – Special Assessment letters, $148.28 – RAMC reimbursement, $28.60 – Runick Iron Recycling, $335.12 – Co-op Dividend, $47.50 – Dog Tax).
- Review upcoming dates: Plan Commission / Town Board
- Plan Commission – Nov 27 @ 6:30 pm
- Town Board – Dec. 11, Jan. 8, Feb. 12 & March 11 @ 7:00 pm
- Anything else reasonably related to the agenda. (No action can be taken at this meeting). Terri Connors brought up the 2 man holes on Eagle Ridge need to be cleaned out before winter if possible.
- Adjourn – Motion by Connors / Klitzke to adjourn at 8:27 pm. Motion carried unanimously
