Monthly Town Board Meeting
at 7:00 pm at Town Hall
Present: Chad Allen, Rebecca Klitzke, Kathy Schwartz, Clark Thompson
Absent: Terri Connors, Becky Meyer
1. Call Meeting to order at 7:00 pm with Pledge of Allegiance. C. Allen called the meeting to order at 7:00pm with the Pledge of Allegiance.
2. Certify Open Meetings Law has been met in accordance with §985.02(2)(a). Open Meetings Law has been met in accordance with §985.02(2)(a) by being placed on the Town Website and the Town Hall door.
3. Adopt Agenda Motion by Klitzke / Allen to adopt the agenda. Motion carried unanimously.
4. Approve minutes from previous meeting. Motion by Allen / Klitzke to approve the Minutes from the June 2024 meeting. Motion carried unanimously.
5. Anyone wishing to speak about a topic that is not on the agenda (No action can be taken) Max 3 minutes. No one spoke
- Ken & Donna Bradley is requesting approval for a revised rezone for parcel # 030-0776-00000 from Exclusive Agriculture to Agriculture. They would like to separate the 6.87-acre parcel with the house and garage into it's own parcel and the shed and barn into its own parcel. The rezone would be only for the House and garage parcel of approximately 2 acres. The property is located in the NW NE part of Section 22, T12N, R4E Town of Reedsburg at E6393 Ski Hill Rd., Reedsburg, WI. Donna Bradley presented a revised CSM for the Rezone. Town Board Consensus in agreement with the revision as it is more restrictive than what was originally presented.
- Discussion and action regarding volunteers for the Drinking Water program for time frames of Friday, July 26 from 4-6 pm; Saturday, July 27 from 9-11 am; Monday, July 29 from 7 - 9 am and 4 - 6 pm. Becky Meyer will do Friday night from 4-6pm and Rebecca Klitzke will do the Saturday and Monday Timeframes.

- Highway Report by C. Thompson
1. Purchased a new mower from St. Joseph Equipment for $16,200. The current mower will put on the Gavin Auction in July.
2. Road Closed sign stolen on Dunse Road (High Water)
3. Paving is completed on Herritz Rd, Clark is working on shouldering
4. Culvert washed out on Herritz Rd., Zobel patched it back in. Need a new bigger culvert tube. Clark got quotes from Highway Commissioner, Pat Gavinski, for County to install and purchase will be approximately $25,000 - $30,000.

3. Allen – DOT I pass violation in Delaware for unpaid toll has been resolved. 3 fireworks permits were issued.
12. Town Clerk presentation of monthly bills and comments by R. Meyer. R. Meyer absent, Chairperson, Allen, presented the monthly bills. Motion by Klitzke / Allen to pay the monthly bills. Motion carried unanimously.
13. Treasures Report and comments by K. Schwartz
1. $531.84 Monthly deposit
14. Review upcoming dates: Plan Commission / Town Board / Election Dates
1. Town Board –August 5, September 9 and Oct. 14
2. Plan Commission – July 22, August 26, September 23
3. Election – August 13 & Nov 5 with early voting on October 29 & 30 from 5:30-7pm
4. Open Book – October 17 – 8am -4pm
5. Board of Review – October 24 – 6pm – 8pm
15. Anything else reasonably related to the agenda. (No action can be taken at this meeting). Nothing
16. Closed Session: Roll call vote to hold closed session for the town board to review applications for hiring a new town patrolman pursuant Wis. Stat. §19.85(1)(c). Closed session has been postponed – due to illness of Supervisor Connors and Clerk Meyer.
17. Adjourn. Motion by Klitzke / Allen to adjourn at 7:45pm. Motion carried unanimously.
