Monthly Town Board Meeting @ 7:00 PM
at Town Hall located at 600 W. Main Street Reedsburg

All Items on the agenda are listed for discussion and possible motion

Present:  Chad Allen, Rebecca Klitzke, Terri Connors, Kathy Schwartz, Brandon Wilmot, Becky Meyer, Julie Barreau, Billy Gronley, Tanner Connors.

1.  Call Regular Town Board Meeting to order at 7:00 pm with Pledge of Allegiance. Chair, C. Allen, Called the Meeting to order at 7:00 pm.
2. Certify Open Meetings Law has been met in accordance with §985.02(2)(a). Clerk Meyer certified open meetings law has been met in accordance with §985.02(2)(a) with being placed on the Town Website and on the Town Hall Door.
3. Adopt Agenda.  Chair C. Allen presented the agenda. Motion by Klitzke / Connors to adopt the August 10, 2026, agenda. Motion carried unanimously.
4. Approve minutes from previous meeting.  Chair, C. Allen, presented the minutes from previous meeting.  Motion by Connors / Klitzke to approve the minutes from the July 2026 meeting.  Motion carried unanimously.
5. Anyone wishing to speak about a topic that is not on the agenda (No action can be taken) Max 3 minutes.  Kathy Schwartz brought up the BECI Transmission lines. 
6. Plan Commission Update – Plan Commission Chair, Julie Barreau, noted that Billy Gronley and Tanner Connors attended the Plan Commission for a CSM.  The Plan Commission recommends approval.
7. CSM being described as Lots 115, 116 and 117 of the Eagle Ridge Addition to the Reedsburg Country Club Located in the NW 1/4, NE 1/4 of Section 12. Township 12 North, Range 4 East, Town of Reedsburg, Sauk County, Wisconsin.  The above lots have been surveyed, combined and divided by ASR Surveyor, Joshua Murphy.  Existing lot 116 being split between property owners of lot 115, Billy & Pamela Gronley, E7194 Eagle Ridge Court and property owner of lot 117, Tanner Connors, E7198 Eagle Ridge Court. Billy Gronley presented a CSM for Lots 115, 116 and 117 of the Eagle Ridge Addition to the Reedsburg Country Club Located in the NW 1/4, NE 1/4 of Section 12. T12N, R4E in the Town of Reedsburg, Sauk County.  Motion by Klitzke / Allen to recommend approval to the Reedsburg ET of the presented CSM for lots 115, 116 and 117 of the Eagle Ridge Addition to the Reedsburg Country Club for lot 116 to be split between property owners of lot 115, Billy & Pamela Gronley @ E7194 Eagle Ridge Court and lot 117, Tanner Connors @ E7198 Eagle Ridge Court.  Terri Connors recused herself from voting. Motion carried unanimously.
8. Highway Report - Brandon Wilmot

a.       Road Report –

1.      S. Golf Course Road - LRIP for 5 Culvert Replacements -Ray Zobel & Sons are waiting on receiving the culverts.

2.      S. Golf Course Road - LRIP for Pulverize and Paving – Scott Construction has pulverized on August 5^th. Paving will be done after the culverts are installed.

b.      Driveway Permits – Jase Engle on Fish Pond Rd. and 2 driveways for Decorah Farms on Ski Hill Rd.

c.       Other comments – July 28 Chad, Brandon & Mark Zobel met with the Railroad Company about the Golf Course Rd. road construction to determine if we need a flagger at the railroad crossing during road work.  The Railroad will supply a flagger.

7.   Chairman / Supervisor Reports and comments

a.       Supervisor II - Terri Connors – Nothing to report

b.      Supervisor I - Rebecca Klitzke – Sauk County Sheriffs dept. called about the problem on Hackbarth Rd with cattle being out consistently.  MGS transmission line proposal, there will be a listening session on August 25^th at the Lange building.

c.       Chair – Chad Allen – Had to go out to Hackbarth Rd. to chase cattle.  S. Golf Course Rd. will need some gravel that Zobel’s gave a quote of $26,000 to raise the road 3 inches. Consensus from the town board to continue with the given quote.  Received a letter from Sauk County to order Salt & Sand.  

  8. Town Clerk - Becky Meyer

a.       Assessor (Holloway Appraisal) Report – None

b.      Building Inspector (GEC) Report. –

·         Patricia Ruda @ E5321 Herritz Rd for a new Deck

·         Craig & Becky Meyer @ S3886 Grote Hill Rd for New Siding on house – storm damage.

c.       Monthly Vouchers - AP QuickBooks reports were emailed. Motion by Connors /   Allen to pay the monthly vouchers. Motion carried unanimously. 

d.      Other comments –

a.       Plan Commission Member Nomination should be done next month.

b.      Wednesday, August 19 Chapter 7 meeting

                                                                                i.      9:00 – 10:30 AM: Reedsburg Public Library – Community Room

                                                                              ii.      11:30 – 1:00 PM: Baraboo - Carnegie-Schadde Memorial Public Library – Sauey Foundation Community Room

                                                                            iii.      3:00 – 4:30 PM: Spring Green Community Library – Community Room

                                                                            iv.      6:00 – 7:30 PM: George Culver Community Library – Community Room

10.  Anything else reasonably related to the agenda. (No action can be taken at this meeting). R. Klitzke noted the WTA magazine had an article about the expansion of town road right away for snow plow turn around.
11.  Adjourn.  Motion by Klitzke / Connors to adjourn the August 2026 monthly meeting at 7:38 pm.  Motion carried unanimously.
