Town of Reedsburg
Plan Commission Meeting
Monday, August 26, 2019 @ 7:30 pm

PRESENT: L. Borleske, C. Mundth, R. Meyer, D. Allen, J. Dietz, M. Wuest,

• Plan Commission meeting was called to order at 7:30 pm with the Pledge of Allegiance.
• R. Meyer certified that the open meetings law has been met for the Plan Commission meeting.
• Motion made by D. Allen, seconded by C. Mundth to adopt the Plan Commission agenda. Motion carried.
• Motion made by D. Allen seconded by M. Wuest to approve the April minutes.  Motion carried.
• Linda Borleske nominated Carl Mundth as Vice Chairperson for the Town of Reedsburg Plan commission, seconded by M. Wuest. J. Dietz made a motion to close nominations, seconded by M. Wuest. Motion carried.  Carl Mundth was sworn in as appointed Vice Chairperson for the Town of Reedsburg Plan Commission. 
• Proposed changes to the bike route on Town of Reedsburg Roads and signage were introduced.  Proposed Bike route to be changed on Old Loganville Rd to end and turn onto Lois Drive to State Hwy 23.  A new proposed bike route to extend on the new Eighth Street by the new middle school and onto N Golf Course rd to State Hwy 23 / 33.  Motion by M. Wuest, seconded by D. Allen to recommend approval of the proposed bike route to the Town Board.  Motion carried. 
• City of Reedsburg Ordinance Chapter 17-change to 17.18 to allow accessory structures for inside storage to be built before their principal structure is present or under construction in R and A zones in the extraterritorial area. The Plan Commission members would like clarification on the time frame from the time that they complete the storage shed until a residence is built.  Motion by J. Dietz, seconded by D. Allen to recommend approval to the Town Board pending clarification. Motion carried. 
• Commission members updates - L. Borleske - Nothing at this time; David Allen - Nothing at this time;  C. Mundth - Nothing at this time; M. Wuest - Nothing at this time; J. Dietz - Nothing at this time.
• Next meeting is set for Monday,  September 23 @ 7:30 pm if there is anything to be discussed.
• Motion by J. Dietz, seconded by M. Wuest to adjourn meeting at 8:04 pm. Motion carried.
