Plan Commission Meeting Minutes

Plan Commission Meeting @ 5:45 pm

There could be a quorum of Town Board members present at this meeting 

All Items on the agenda have the possibility of a Motion

1.    Call Plan Commission to order at 5:45 pm with the Pledge of Allegiance. G. Fenwich called the Plan Commission meeting to order at 5:45 with the Pledge of Allegiance.

2.    Certify compliance with Open Meetings Law. B. Meyer certified that the meeting is in compliance with the Open Meetings Law by being posted on the Town Hall front door and on the Town Website.

3.    Adopt the agenda. Motion by Barreau / Connors to adopt the agenda.

4.    Approve the Minutes from previous meeting  Motion by Wuest / Connors to approve the minutes from the previous meeting.

5.    Anyone wishing to speak that is not on the agenda - No action can be taken (3minute limit).  No One Spoke

6.    Discussion and possible action on changing the meeting date of updating the Comprehensive Plan to the fourth Monday of each month.  Motion by Connors / Barreau to change the meeting date for updating the Comprehensive Plan to the Fourth Monday of each month.  If there are Town residents that need to come before the Plan Commission there will be a meeting on the second Monday before the Town Board meeting.  Motion carried unanimously.

7.    Review and Discuss Chapters 1 and 3 for amending the Comprehensive Plan for the Town of Reedsburg. Postponed until July 22

8.    Patricia Behn is requesting approval to create a 2-acre parcel with her home and septic system. If approved, the PRD lot will coincide with the placement of a preservation area easement on 38 acres of forested land, which is part of a secondary conservation area (defined by Sauk County Ordinance as it is a large block of contiguous forested land in excess of 40 acres). The easement area is located in the SE ¼ of the NW ¼ of Section 32, T12N, R4E Town of Reedsburg at S4694 Prairie View Dr. Reedsburg, WI. Patricia Behn presented a PRD. Motion by Connors / Wuest recommended approval to the Town Board.  Motion carried unanimously

9.    Ken & Donna Bradley is requesting approval to rezone parcel # 030-0776-00000 from Exclusive Agriculture to Agriculture.  If approve, they would like to separate the 6.87-acre parcel with the house and garage into it's own parcel and the shed house and barn into its own parcel and have a shared septic system and well between the two.  The rezone is located in the NW NE part of Section 22, T12N, R4E Town of Reedsburg at E6393 Ski Hill Rd., Reedsburg, WI. Motion by Connors / Barreau to recommend approval to the Town Board for the North part of the parcel to be changed to Agriculture zoning. Motion carried unanimously.

10. Discussion and possible action on accepting the suggested changes to chapters 1 and 3 for the Town of Reedsburg Comprehensive Plan.  Postponed until July 22

11. Plan Commission Committee Members updates.  Nothing to update.

12. Anything else reasonably related to the agenda. (No action can be taken at this meeting).  Nothing

13. Next meeting date if there is anything to discuss.  July 22 at 6pm

14. Adjourn. Motion by Allen / Barreau at 7:05pm.
