Plan Commission Meeting @ 6:30 pm

at Reedsburg Town Hall

Monday, January 12, 2026

Present: Julie Barreau, Chad Allen, Terri Connors, Julie Barreau, Mimi Wuest, David Allen
Also Present:  Chad Allen, Rebecca Klitzke, Shaun Haag, Ken Kayhart, Jamie Phephles,

        1.        Call Plan Commission to order at 6:30 pm with the Pledge of Allegiance. Meeting was called to order at 6:34 pm with the pledge of allegiance.

        2.        Certify compliance with Open Meetings Law §985.02(2)(a).  R. Meyer certified that meeting was posted on the front door of the Town Hall and on the Town website.

        3.        New Chair, Julie Barreau Oath of Office.

        4.        Adopt the agenda. Motion by Wuest / Allen to adopt the agenda. Motion carried unanimously.

        5.        Approve the Minutes from previous meeting. Motion by Wuest  / Allen to approve the minutes from the July meeting.  Motion carried unanimously.

        6.        Anyone wishing to speak that is not on the agenda - No action can be taken (3minute limit). No one spoke.

        7.        A 2 lot CSM located at E7056A E Reedsburg Rd in SE 1/4  NW 1/4 of Section 1 T12N, R4E Town of Reedsburg, Sauk County.  Said parcel contains 20 acres. Owner of  property is Sharon Johnston.  CMS divides tax parcel number 030-0020-20000 into two new Lots with the empty being sold and Faith Christian Church being constructed on the new lot. - Ken Kayhart, pastor of Faith Christian Church, presented a 2 lot CSM located at E7056A E Reedsburg Rd in the Town of Reedsburg, Sauk County.  Said parcel contains 20 acres. Owner of  property is Sharon Johnston.  CMS divides tax parcel number 030-0020-20000 into two new Lots with the empty being sold and Faith Christian Church being constructed on the new lot.  Motion by Wuest / Allen to recommend approval of a 2 lot CSM located at E7056A E Reedsburg Rd in the Town of Reedsburg to the Town Board.  Motion carried unanimously.

        8.        A CSM located at E5455 Old Ironton Rd. in NE1/4 NW1/4 of Section 8, T12N, R4E in the Town of Reedsburg, Sauk County Said parcel contains 12.70 acres.  Owner of the property is Shaun D. Haag and Jaime R. Haag.  This CSM divides tax parcel number 030-0244-20000 into two lots.  Lot one is 2.01 acres with the duplex and septic system and Lot 2 is 10.69 acres with the farm buildings. – Shaun Haag presented a CSM located at E5455 Old Ironton Rd. in the Town of Reedsburg, Sauk County. Said parcel contains 12.70 acres.  Owner of the property is Shaun D. Haag and Jaime R. Haag.  This CSM divides tax parcel number 030-0244-20000 into two lots.  Lot one is 2.01 acres with the duplex and septic system and Lot 2 is 10.69 acres with the farm buildings. Motion by Allen / Connors to recommend approval of the 2 lot CSM at E5455 Old Ironton Rd. in the Town of Reedsburg to the Town Board.  Motion carried unanimously.

        9.        Plan Commission Committee Members updates – No updates at this time.

      10.      Anything else reasonably related to the agenda. (No action can be taken at this meeting). Nothing.

      11.      Next meeting date if there is anything to discuss.  February 9, 2026 @ 6:30 pm

      12.      Adjourn – Motion by Allen / Connors to adjourn at 6:54.  Motion carried unanimously.
