Plan Commission Minutes

Plan Commission Meeting @ 6:30 pm

at Reedsburg Town Hall

Present: Julie Barreau, Terri Connors, David Allen
Also Present:  Chad Allen, Rebecca Klitzke, Ryan Engel  Kiely Jensen, Jase Engel, Scott Dischler

        1.        Call Plan Commission to order at 6:30 pm with the Pledge of Allegiance. Meeting was called to order at 6:46 pm with the pledge of allegiance.

        2.        Certify compliance with Open Meetings Law §985.02(2)(a).  R. Meyer certified that meeting was posted on the front door of the Town Hall and on the Town website.

        3.        Adopt the agenda. Motion by Allen / Connors to adopt the agenda. Motion carried unanimously.

        4.        Approve the Minutes from previous meeting. Motion by Connors  / Allen to approve the minutes from the July meeting.  Motion carried unanimously.

        5.        Anyone wishing to speak that is not on the agenda - No action can be taken (3minute limit). No one spoke.

     6.    A CSM for Decorah Farms LLC located at E6352 Ski Hill Rd. in SE 1/4  SW 1/4 of Section 15, T12N, R4E Town of Reedsburg, Sauk County.  Owner of  property is Freeman Decorah.  This CSM divides an 8.99-acre tax parcel number 030-0606-12000 into two Lots.  One lot is 1.08 and the other lot is 7.91 acres. Scott Dischler presented a CSM for Decorah Farms LLC located at E6352 Ski Hill Rd. in SE 1/4  SW 1/4 of Section 15, T12N, R4E Town of Reedsburg, Sauk County.  Owner of  property is Freeman Decorah.  This CSM divides an 8.99-acre tax parcel number 030-0606-12000 into two Lots.  Lot 2 is 1.08 and the other lot of 7.91 acres is being combined with lot 1 being a total of 30.99 acres. Motion by Connors / Allen to recommend approval to the Town Board.  Motion carried unanimously.  

     7.   A Conditional Use Permit (CUP) for a Planned Rural Development (PRD) lot for  lot for Jase Engel located on Fish Pond Rd. in Section 19 and Section 20, T12N, R4E, Town of Reedsburg. Jase Engel presented a conditional Use Permit (CUP) for a 5-acre Planned Rural Development (PRD) lot.  Motion by Allen / Connors to recommend approval of a CUP for a 5-acre PRD lot to the Town Board.  Motion carried unanimously. 

        8.        Plan Commission Committee Members updates – No updates at this time.

        9.        Anything else reasonably related to the agenda. (No action can be taken at this meeting). Nothing.

      10.      Next meeting date if there is anything to discuss.  April 13, 2026 @ 6:30 pm

      11.      Adjourn – Motion by Allen / Connors to adjourn at 6:58 pm.  Motion carried unanimously.
